Geraldton and Return 2015

The Geraldton Ocean Classic is the Club’s premier annual Cat. 2 Ocean Race in the Yachting WA Offshore Calendar.
The Race will again be conducted in October in its traditional place in the offshore racing calendar. This timing in the Australian yachting calander attracts the cream of WA’s ocean racing fleet and is as we all know is the one that every skipper desperately wants to win
It will all start at 1:30pm off Leighton Beach on Friday 23rd October with the fleet returning on Friday 30th October starting at 9:30am from Geraldton.
For the many spectators around the Pert area the best view of the start is from the North Mole. For those who have prior commitments or are too far away then our YB race tracker can be found on the South of Perth Yacht Club’s website which enables interested native and international followers of the event to see the progress of their favourites in real time.
